The design team at L’OBJET worked on a series of shapes for scale and function, which the brothers used as canvases for their creative fantasies.
3D-printing enabled the designs to transport from the Brothers’ studio in LA to the L’OBJET porcelain atelier in Portugal. Together with Elad, the brothers flew to Portugal to manually work and sculpt each prototype by hand before molds were made ready for porcelain pouring. Beyond mere quality control, they needed to feel just right — something that had to be evaluated with eyes and fingers. It is no exaggeration to call these pieces handcrafted, because every stage of every process involved the human touch. The tendency of technology to replace the beautiful inefficiencies of the human hand is a touchy subject that feels a little nostalgic. Here, L’Objet and the Haas Brothers have mastered a balance of retaining the hand as the primary tool, while still using technology to support a complex and precise process. The machine has enabled the hand, not obscured it.

The fine sculptural and textural details that are a trademark of L’OBJET are created entirely by hand.
Pieces are slip-cast from fine porcelain, some using bespoke plaster molds so delicately detailed that they can cast only fifteen pieces in their lifetime. Hand-assembly often includes architectural manipulation of the materials using techniques unique to L’OBJET. Porcelain is teased and shaped by hand as it dries to create exquisite texture. Dinnerware is gilded three times in 24-karat gold and Platinum to achieve the perfect glow. The level of detail and subtlety of texture evident in L’OBJET signature porcelain pieces are achievable only through specialized, hand-crafted productions.
Apothicaire & Home Fragrance
L’OBJET fragrances are artfully balanced, unexpected blends of all-natural aromatics that are created to stir memories and uplift the senses.
Together with renowned perfumer Yann Vasnier, each of our exclusive scents is composed of a top note, heart note and base note, which lends complexity to the fragrance experience. The Parfums de Voyage collection includes Japanese incense crafted entirely from paste without a bamboo stick, a method that delivers the purest fragrance possible. Apothicaire formulations are contained in special UV-blocking, black violet glass to ensure lasting potency. Rejuvenating and invigorating, these scents and experiences create an escape from the ordinary.

Through close-knit relationships with artisans renowned for their skills with distinctive yarns and fabrication, L’OBJET develops soft goods with innovative surface textures and luxurious quality.

Table Linens are 100% linen woven and finished by hand in Portugal and washed to bring a softness that adds to the textile’s natural tactility.

Employing expert silversmithing techniques, L’OBJET works with artisans to create fine metal pieces for tabletop, desktop and home décor with weight, elegance and exceptional practicality.
Emulating centuries of fine jewelry design and techniques, intricate gold and platinum photo frames are finished with beveled glass, satin lining and Italian leather and suede backs. High-quality hollowware pieces are hand-forged from polished stainless-steel and plated with brilliant 24K gold details. Innovative combinations of materials pair fine metals with cabochons, enamel, Swarovski crystals, and porcelain accents to comprise a collection rich in texture.

Each coral centerpiece and bookend is sculpted by hand by a master artisan, plated in 24K gold and embellished with over 8,000+ hand-set red coral cabochons. Games and trays crafted from natural shell inlay and marble require skill and precision to create an impeccable finished product. The laborious production process behind these designs only allows for a limited number of pieces, and often require some patience as collectors wait for their masterpiece to be crafted. These collections showcase the exacting standards of the brand’s most cherished craftspeople and artists from around the world.
Founder + Creative Director, Elad Yifrach
L’OBJET is the life work of Founder and Creative Director Elad Yifrach. Born and raised in Israel, Elad established himself as an interior designer in Beverly Hills, prior to taking up residence in New York. A lifelong traveler with a global design perspective, Elad imbues every design with its own story. Each collection is a spirited homage to both the cultures which inspire them and the artisans who bring them to life.
Founded in 2004, L’OBJET was born at intersection of meticulous craftsmanship and timeless sensibility. Today, the brand continues to set standards in the luxury lifestyle industry, while still employing many of the same craftspeople whom Elad met on his early travels.
